SVEA owns,
operates and maintains 17 tennis courts. The eight Village courts
(six asphalt courts and two Kremercourts) located near the Village, and
the nine courts (all asphalt) at the Harker Center. The
Association enters into a contract with an independent tennis
professional for the operation of the courts and tennis programs. The
organized tennis season begins in mid-May and runs through
mid-September, though the season may vary depending on weather
conditions.
These courts,
like other SVEA amenities, are private and, with the exception of "open
to the public clinics", are for the use of owners and their guests.
There is no charge for open play, however a valid amenity card is
required.

These evening events are a non-competitive social affair. It will be
round robin, changing partners, fun, co-ed tennis from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.
Each entrant or couple is expected to bring an appetizer as well as
their own beer, wine or other adult beverage. Advance reservations
required. Confirmation call required.

These evening tennis events are
a non-competitive, highly social affair. We will have round robin,
changing partners, fun tennis play from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. About 7:00
pm we will unveil the appetizers that each entrant will bring. If you
sign up as a couple you may bring one appetizer between the two of you.
This is co-ed tennis. We don’t
care if we have an even number of men and women. Consequently some lucky
guy may find himself on the court with three beautiful women or vise
versa.
Confirmation calls will be made
the day before each event to ensure even numbers for doubles play.
