Pete Petersen and his wife Janet have been part time residents in the Elkhorn community for thirty years, owning a Bluff Condominium as well as their present property in the Ranch. Pete spends considerable time in Elkhorn enjoying skiing, hiking, biking and fishing. He is retired after 30 years of practice in Boise as a Retina specialist in the field of Ophthalmology. Included among Pete’s many contributions to the Elkhorn community are his seven years of service on the Ranch Board of Directors, the past four as President. During Pete’s leadership, the Ranch has completed a major clubhouse remodel, instituted a capital reserve budget and provided resolution to owner conflicts. More importantly to SVEA, Pete was appointed to and has been a very active participant of two of SVEA’s Committees; Finance and Recreation.
