This experience provides a broad perspective, since he has been in the area even before Elkhorn's inception. As a long time condominium owner and now a homeowner, Ted has experienced many controversial issues from different viewpoints. Personally, through the years, there have been assessments, remodels and new construction projects; He believes that he has an understanding of the processes involved and empathy for the desires of the community.

Ted retired, after 42 years, from an active dental practice in Southern California; this now provides him time to become a more involved member of this community.

Communication is the key to any community organization. Active dialogue, designed to bring all the inevitable issues of the day into open discussion, will be the basis of his energy with this board. Once a focus is achieved and the majority is in agreement, Ted strongly believes in getting things done. Dentistry is a very demanding and highly efficient profession and he has learned many lessons from this.

He has no personal agenda of things to do, correct or criticize. Ted brings a fresh, uncluttered perspective to the table and will work with the members of the community and the board to continue the work that has already made Elkhorn one of the most beautiful places on earth and a wonderful place to call home.
